It’s getting dirty and ugly

Theresa May got a lot of mud thrown in her face at the Salzburg meeting of EU heads of state and now UK ministers are fighting back with dirt of their own - see https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2018/sep/20/may-in-fight-to-save-chequers-brexit-plan-after-salzburg-ambush?CMP=Share_iOSApp_Other  . 
Sadly, tragically the only ones who will enjoy and profit from this mud-wrestling are the media. It’s definitely political high drama for the news junkies amongst us. I find it difficult to grasp how indifferent (according to pollsters) the majority of the British public seems to be to all this.

A negotiation gone hopelessly wrong

There a whole slew of articles in the British press right now analysing what went wrong in Britain’s negotiations to leave the European Union.
